A Saint Francis statue stands near the remains of a home burned in the Almeda fire in Phoenix Oregon. The fire, which started on Sept., 8th, consumed about 2,300 homes and 1,500 other structures and displaced thousands in the communities of Talent and Phoenix in southern Oregon. . (Robin Loznak)
